Reducing energetic consumption, generating your own energy and being more efficient is vital.
That's why we count with Spain's biggest photovoltaic installation for self-supply, an electric
boiler and a heat pump which prevent the emission of more than 887 tonnes of CO2 into the
atmosphere, a renewable energy generation plant for sustainable biomass, installation and
recovery of thermo-regulating machines and our own water purification system. But we also
count with different actions.

Our photovoltaic installation for self-supply is the biggest in Spain, yes.
But that’s not the best.
The best are the results.
Thanks to this cutting-edge installation we use 100% of the photovoltaic energy, translating into 7.114.000 kWh per year, the equivalent of the electric consumption of 2.200 homes. All this will prevent the emission of about 2.700 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere, which corresponds to more than 17.0000 trees absorbing CO2.
Furthermore, our battery is able to store the excess of solar energy: this excess is stored in the battery and when the solar production ceases it discharges. This way, we make the most of the total amount of energy that the photovoltaic installation receives. It turns on the electric boiler, generating steam it can generate 1.500 kg/h of steam, with an annual consumption of 1.638 kWh.

Water purifying system
Since 1993 we have our own water purifying system to treat residual water before we discharge it into the municipal water treatment plant, just as reservoirs and water for self-supply.

We also have a biomass energy generation plant in which we generate renewable energy in a sustainable way thanks to the collection and use of natural waste from our forests. The results speak for themselves.
